STASIA - Stylist/Owner/Creative
Hair has been my profession since 1997, proud owner of Oohlas Salon & Gallery in Fremont for 15 years and now my private Studio Okto (Greek for 8) on my property in Edmonds. My education stretches from Gene Juarez Seattle to Toni and Guy New York City and Academy Ramirez Tran Four Seasons Seattle. My passion for one-on-one interaction with people, and a constant need to be creative, are what fuel my career as a stylist. I love working with color and helping people experience their personality through unique styles. From uber-natural to dramatic. Grey blending or making it bold. Sunkissed highlights, full blonding, balayage or foiling. Extensions for length or fullness. Modern precision short, long & textured cuts. I have a wide range of individualistic clientele with a variety of styles. I have volunteered my time as a member of the Look Good Feel Better organization that brings beauty advice to female patients undergoing cancer treatments. Using my craft to shed light on and raise funds for organizations and causes I value, such as Locks of Love, FareStart, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Pasedo’s Safe Haven, Sunshine Kids, NeighborCare Health, Planned Parenthood, Literary Source, The F Factor, Plus One Foundation, Community Psychiatric Clinic and Nami, has been a highlight of my career. In an effort to add more balance and harmony to my life and yours, I share my time between family, studio and community. My clients enjoy the quiet simplicity of my space. Here they can work, laugh or relax in peace, while I take care of their hair. I love creating inviting spaces, flavorful food, walking, learning, art, writing poetry, psychology, vintage furniture, poker, podcasts & nature.
